Dr. Gilbert Snow has been creating beautiful, healthy smiles in the Antelope Valley since 1971, and he has gained a reputation for providing the highest quality and most modern orthodontic treatments available.

Education

Dr. Snow received the best in dental and orthodontic education at the USC School of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Following his time at USC, he then continued his academic excellence at Loyola University in Chicago, completing a postgraduate specialty degree.

Hi Desert Children's Dental Clinic

Dr. Snow is the founder of the Hi Desert Children's Dental Clinic, which provides free dental care to children from low-income homes and with no insurance. With the help of more than 30 local participating oral care professionals, the clinic coordinates approximately 150 appointments annually.

Free School Dental Screenings

Did you know that 10% of the children in the Antelope Valley have never been to the doctor for their oral health? For this reason, Dr. Snow and his staff are always willing to visit local elementary schools to conduct free dental screenings. Dr. Snow begins with an informative and fun-filled presentation on the importance of oral health, and he then personally screens each student. These dental screenings are provided solely as a community service, and they include no soliciting and/or self-promotion.

Daniel Azani, DDS, MS

Dr. Daniel Azani believes in providing friendly, personalized orthodontic care. His goal is to make his patients’ visits both a positive and enjoyable experience. His favorite reward is being able to impact others’ lives through his work. It is never too late to work on improving oneself or one’s appearance. Dr. Azani is in the business of creating beautiful smiles and he loves it. It gives him the opportunity to make people happy by giving them a more confident and healthy self-image.

Dr. Azani offers only the latest advances in orthodontics so that his patients receive the best care available. He also tests all new developments in orthodontics before using them in procedures to make sure that they deliver the quality of care he is known for. Also, Dr. Azani works with each patient individually to customize his or her own plan. He believes that “In order to help you get the straightest, most beautiful smile you’ve always wanted - the one you deserve - I will create individualized orthodontic treatment plans that work with your lifestyle and your specific needs."

Dr. Azani has a full house. He is the proud father of seven beautiful children.

Chris Swartz, DDS

Dr. Christopher P. Swartz believes that eyes are the windows of the soul, laughter is the music of the soul, and a SMILE is the reflection of the soul. He loves asking questions like, “What does your smile say about you? Does it allow you to laugh, sing, and speak freely without inhibition? Are you comfortable and relaxed with it?” These questions represent his main concerns for his patients. Dr. Swartz believes that issues with one’s smile do affect self-esteem, which in turn has an effect on the quality and success each person feels in life.

Therefore, Dr. Swartz’s goal is to ensure that his patients’ smile have a positive impact. He wants to be able to help people achieve smiles that they can truly be proud of while making sure those smiles deliver a first impression that best represents each person's inner and outer beauty.

Dr. Swartz enjoys many activities. His favorites are those that involve the great outdoors, such as skiing, biking, photography, hunting, and fishing.

Karmen Massih, DDS, MS

Dr. Karmen Massih strives to make each patient feel important and welcome at our practice. She believes in providing oral care that is designed to fit her patients’ exact needs. Dr. Massih is always happy to personally sit down with patients and discuss their goals, needs, and treatment options. She works together with her incredible staff and patients to find the perfect orthodontic plans for each person who walks through her doors.

When not actively creating healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Massih enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also likes to do yoga, play tennis, go to the movies, and travel.

Daniel Snow, DDS, MS

Dr. Daniel Snow is a Board Certified orthodontic practitioner. His involvement with the American Board of Orthodontics and his dedication to continuing education have earned him this rare honor. Dr. Snow brings the same high level of commitment to each of his patients' treatments. He is devoted to creating individualized orthodontic treatment plans that work for his patients’ different lifestyles and needs. He stays on the cutting edge of the latest developments in the field to ensure that his patients receive a comprehensive range of treatment options to best get the results they want and need.

He also believes that all orthodontic treatments are gradual processes. He works to oversee each patient's treatment progression personally over the extended period of time that it takes to achieve stellar smiles. The most rewarding part of this process, besides from creating brilliant, healthy teeth, is the great relationships Dr. Snow forms with his patients. He feels that it is a unique opportunity to form a special relationship that is based on trust. He eagerly looks forward to each new relationship just as much as he treasures the bonds he has already established.

Orthodontic Legacy

As a second-generation orthodontist, Dr. Snow had the benefit of being exposed to the field of oral healthcare throughout his entire life. He took full advantage of it while learning techniques and values firsthand from his father. He believes, “There is nothing more exciting than working with my father, for whom I have so much personal and professional respect. I’ve learned a lot from him, most notably the benefits of friendly care.” Dr. Snow treats his patients and their families with skill and a soft touch. His goal is to make their visit’s a fun and positive experience.

Outside the Office

Dr. Snow keeps a very active life when not at our office. He enjoys mountain biking, snow and water skiing, running, and playing paintball. He also really appreciates any time he gets to spend with his family.
