Getting Ready for 2016!
Tuesday December 1st, 2015

Many of our patients consider the beginning of a new year a time to not only reflect on the year before, but also to set personal goals for the upcoming year. How are you planning to improve your health and happiness in 2016? Improving your smile with orthodontic treatment is one way to make changes that will have a positive impact on both your physical appearance and your overall health. Orthodontic treatment can really have a positive impact on your self-confidence too; when your smile comes easily and without hesitation, it can make everything you do seem easier! And when your teeth are aligned and crowding removed, then it’s much easier to brush and floss and keep things clean and healthy.

It’s important that goals you set are reasonable and attainable, and that they improve your overall quality of life—for example, did you know that flossing every day is the very best way to prevent periodontal, or gum disease during and after your orthodontic treatment? Using a straw when drinking sugary beverages can also help prevent cavities while you’re wearing braces and really anytime. There are many small steps that you can take to prevent cavities, oral infections and bad breath. Ask the team at Snow Orthodontics for help as well as your general dentist.

If your goal is to attain a great-looking healthy smile, Snow Orthodontics would love to help! Please give us a call and schedule your free initial consultation. We look forward to working with you and your family for a better you in 2016!
