Early Interceptive Treatment

Early interceptive treatment allows our orthodontists to identify developing tooth and bite concerns while a child’s smile is still growing. At Snow Orthodontics, we recommend an early orthodontic evaluation around age 7 so we can monitor jaw development, spacing, crowding, and bite alignment before more complex problems have a chance to progress. Not every child needs early treatment, but when it is recommended, it can help guide growth, create space for permanent teeth, and reduce the need for more involved treatment later. If you are wondering whether your child is ready to see an orthodontist, schedule a free consultation at one of our California locations.

Dental Monitoring

Dental Monitoring makes orthodontic treatment more convenient by allowing our team to remotely track certain aspects of your progress using advanced technology and a smartphone app. Instead of coming into the office for every small check-in, patients may be able to send guided photos or videos for review, helping our doctors keep treatment moving while reducing unnecessary visits. This technology is especially helpful for busy families, working adults, and patients traveling between appointments. Ask Snow Orthodontics whether Dental Monitoring may be included in your braces or Invisalign® treatment plan.

Clear Braces

Clear braces offer many of the dependable benefits of traditional braces with a more discreet appearance. Instead of metal brackets, clear braces use ceramic brackets that blend more naturally with your smile while still allowing your orthodontist to guide precise tooth movement. They can be a great option for teens and adults who want effective orthodontic treatment but prefer a less noticeable look than metal braces. If you are comparing clear braces, metal braces, LightForce braces, or Invisalign®, our team can help you choose the option that best fits your smile, lifestyle, and goals.

Retainers & Smile Maintenance

Your orthodontic treatment does not end the day your braces or Invisalign® treatment is complete - keeping your smile in place is an important part of protecting your results. Snow Orthodontics offers retainer options to help maintain your new tooth position while your gums, bone, and surrounding tissues stabilize after treatment. Depending on your needs, your doctor may recommend a removable retainer, fixed retainer, or another smile maintenance option designed to support long-term results. To keep your smile looking its best after orthodontic treatment, follow your retainer instructions and contact Snow Orthodontics if your retainer is lost, damaged, or no longer fitting properly.

TMJ / TMD Support

TMJ and TMD concerns can affect more than your jaw - they may contribute to headaches, neck aches, ear discomfort, jaw clicking, muscle spasms, or pain when chewing, speaking, or opening your mouth. At Snow Orthodontics, our doctors can evaluate your bite, jaw function, and symptoms to help determine whether orthodontic treatment may support better comfort and alignment. Because every patient’s TMJ symptoms are different, your care plan should begin with a professional evaluation and a clear explanation of your options. To learn more about our TMJ/TMD support, schedule a free consultation today.
